Let me introduce myself, Nancy Pham, a young, curious and ambitious woman looking forward to take on the world by the horns!
We never know what is going to happen next, so why not make life more enjoyable day by day? Let’s surprise ourselves with challenges that in NO WAY we ever thought we would make it through. Here’s one quote that I really like and which has been following me from elementary school, by Nelson Mandela:
It always seems impossible until it’s done.
So, I often want to push my boundaries to go live adventures of a lifetime! Well, I am not like the crazy ones putting my life in danger, but I do take some risks that scare me to death yet now, I am absolutely thankful for doing so.
A turning point in my life was when I decided to go by myself, without any phone connection or charge, to trek in Iceland. IN-SANE experience, but one thing I forgot mentioning: it was the first time that I ever went camping – or even trekking – and I decided to embark on a one-week journey in a country I for sure didn’t know the language. Good job!
For those who have already hiked or trekked, you know you get a lot of time to think. So many things were going through my mind at high speed! I got insecure, I got happy, I got exhausted. I realised a lot of things about myself and, was I always happy with it? No. But a bunch of other things were very welcomed. And that made me change.
Challenging? Yes. Would I do it again? Anytime!
So, just like this, I am someone not afraid to try new things. I want to try new things because that is how you grow the most. And let’s not forget, that’s is how you create amazing memories! I am still talking to some of the people that I got to meet in Iceland, and other beautiful encounters often make me want to cry. But not because I am sad, but because I remember the joy that I had of getting to know them.
Did this little story give you a little idea of who I am? I am sure you’ll be able to grasp more of it as you read – or watch – more. Hope you are going to accompany me in my journey to personal growth! So, make sure to follow my blog and my Youtube channel PhamTribeTV 🙂
